In 2022, our yearly “big project” for my study program was to create a campaign for the Belgian brand Vonken Wood Fired Ovens. This project was a team effort, and the work portrayed was created by me and formed part of the overall final deliverables. It was not created for commercial use.

For this assignment, we were tasked with creating a campaign that would not only promote the high-end wood-fired ovens, but that would make the brand appealing to German consumers. This project required a lot of research to come to a valuable insight, considering the fiercely competitive market it faces.

We decided on a campaign that would focus on German families and play on the versatility and portable aspect of Vonken’s products. Our tagline refers to sitting around the campfire with your loved ones, which is a big aspect of German culture, and appeals to the emotional and functional needs of the target group. We also incorporated the idea of having the “campfire” ambiance wherever you choose.
