Professional Project - 2023
This MIKE&BECKY chocolate bar was my final project of 2023: A winter-themed bar made with fine cacao from the Dominican Republic, dreamy lavender, and organic ashwagandha root powder from local Brussels brand AHO Botanicals.
Launched just before Christmas, Lavender Magic was meant to encompass a sense of slowing down and taking a moment to relax and treat yourself. The botanicals used in the chocolate bar are traditionally utilized for strengthening the body and calming the mind. The aesthetic of this bar was imagined to unify a festive mood with a relaxed atmosphere.
For this specific design, I had a lot of freedom and was only prompted to use “snowflakes” as the base concept. As I started working on the illustration, I found that different-shaped stars created a more uniform and clean look, and the clients agreed. I created a lavender-inspired color palette to further introduce a Winter feel. Overall, I illustrated the design, compiled the color palette, came up with the final name and copywriting, and created the final Recto and Verso printing files.
